Program dates: 1/5 – 1/26
Time: Sundays, 2pm-4pm
Somatic Dreaming is an adventure; it is creative, and full of surprises, revelations, and play. Dream work shows us important aspects of ourselves from deep in our psyche inviting us to a greater sense of wholeness. We explore dreams to invite our deeper self into close conversation. In this group, we will share our dreams and become curious about specific dream elements. We will find embodied ways to explore these images, feelings, and characters through gesture and sound, bringing to life a community dreamtime. When images come alive in our bodies, fresh understandings are born.
Exploring your dreams:
– Helps to loosen ways we are stuck in limiting self descriptions
– Allows you to find new possibilities through life’s challenges
– Can encourage you to play on the edge of the unknown and invite more mystery into your life
Facilitator: Erin Butterworth
Erin Butterworth is a psychotherapist and Continuum teacher offering holistic support to the Richmond Community for 15 years. Erin came to Continuum through the wild and wonderful teachings of Cory Blake as well as the meditation guidance of Mark Bryant (both CTA members). In their Richmond Virginia community, meditation and Continuum pour into and nourish one another. Her meditation background is in Zen Buddhism and Meditative Inquiry. In 2015, Erin met Susan Harper and Rebecca Lawson. She was transformed by their teaching and developed an aspiration to be a holder of this lineage.
